12 Years of SWANK
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a celebration of the SWANK Event and their 12th anniversary. With their free group tag active, you can claim gifts from over 200 booths by clicking the gold and glass globes. I'm so grateful for all of these generous treats, and excited that they've been bringing us the best of these designers for a dozen years! This is a part one, as throughout the month I will be sprinkling some more of these goodies into my posts to continue to tempt you into visiting.
For my first look of the evening, I selected one of 3 gifts I found from V8 Underground. The **ABYZOU X DEMON CONCEPT COSTUME COMPLETE OUTFIT** is ideal for Halloween (which will be here before we know it) as classic demon or devil attire. The dress, collar, and boots are all provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn body sizes. Then we can add the horns, tail, fork, and animated wings, which include an on/off HUD for their flapping motions. There are BOM layers included of the Lelutka EVOX makeup and gloves/panties/pantyhose that I'm wearing here. The accessories are adjustable, and the fingerless lace gloves look great with the fishnet stockings :) I hope I find some costume events to attend since their other gifts (stay tuned for future posts) are similarly seasonal.
I wound up with 2 gifts from purplemoon, and they do seem to be intended to be worn together :) The :: pm :: Phoebe Top -blue- includes the sleeves separate from the top, both in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies. Isn't the intricate design on the top and the upper part of the sleeves stunning? It reminds me of a mandala, and looks so pretty against the full lace sleeves. We can wear it either way with the lovely :: pm :: Phoebe Skirt -blue- which wraps around and is held in place by a wide belt. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a metals HUD offering 6 options to adjust the color. Since the top and skirt are separates, I will happily pair them with other staples of my wardrobe from time to time, because why not? :)

Next I've slipped into the Ruxy-Criss V2 Dress Lara X gift. We all deserve a new little black dress from time to time, and this one is a flirty strapless style with extra short gathered skirt tied on the left thigh. It has been designed for just one specific body as per the name, but there is a chance that you could get it to fit a similarly proportioned one with some alpha adjustments or even tweaking your shape.
My final look tonight is the fantastic [Witch In A Box] Doe Lunar Outfit. This gift looks like separates at first glance but they're linked to wear as one piece. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies included. The images of the various moon phases across the front are lovely, and the bold black bow adds a really fun touch that I appreciate :) I'm also impressed by the bubble style of both top and skirt, which I definitely don't see in combination like this very often.Is it naptime yet? LOL, sorry - no idea why I am feeling drowsy tonight but I'm sure I will perk up while I'm in SL later. Chatting with Xan always helps too, and he is very forgiving if I find myself yawning because he knows it's not from the company :) I didn't do anything unusual or tiring. There are so many things happening in SL this month, and I am up to my eyeballs in Twisted cubes lately so you can expect to see those hunt prizes shortly. Feeling Sassy
Hiya everyone! Tonight I was indeed feeling a little sassy, so I visited the *BSASSY* store to see what's new there. Their group is free to join, and the first gift you'll find is in front of the desk on the main/first floor. Then you can either walk up 2 flights of stairs or use the teleporter board to go to the third floor, where there is an entire room dedicated to group gifts :) I've shared some before and will probably do so in the future too, but since there are monthly gifts going back to 2018 there are plenty of options whenever I do. This store is a longtime favorite for their wide range of styles and their generosity.
We're starting the post with the newest gift that I mentioned being the one located on the main floor, called *BSASSY* AUG 26 GG COMPLETE OUTFIT. The fun part is that this entire outfit is one piece, from top to flowing pants to even the footwear :) The gift includes Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes.
Up on the 3rd floor I found a similarly easy to wear treat, the *BSASSY* GROUP GIFT MAY 26 JUMPER AND HEELS. It's another all in one outfit, and comes in the same sizes as the first one I shared. This time we have a sleek halter neckline, mauve belt, and the shoes are hard to see in these photos but they are light mauve to match the belt. I can't resist the ability to put on an entire outfit at once with just a couple of clicks :)
*BSASSY* FEB 26 GROUP GIFT DRESS AND BOM STOCKINGS is just the right gift if you need something sexy to wear just about anywhere. The dress comes in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, while the fishnet stockings with side seams are a BOM layer. The vines with pink hearts decorating them are a fun nod to Valentine's Day since it was a February gift, but not something that would prevent you from wearing them any other time of year. The stockings come down to our ankles, so that might influence your choice of footwear; I'm thinking boots if you want to hide that bottom seam or high heels to accentuate it.
Next I switched into the *BSASSY* JULY 25 GROUP GIFT DRESS, a soft beige beauty with bare shoulders and a short skirt with sheer polka-dotted layer. I love the way that top layer matches the puffy sleeves, very cute touch! Open this gift and you'll find Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu body sizes inside.
It's fairly unusual for me to have an entire blog post with all neutral colors, and it wasn't intentional but I am still getting a kick out of it :) Our final look here is called *BSASSY* JANUARY 25 GROUP GIFT DRESS, and has lots of lace to soften the edges of the dark black coloring. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies provided. The bodice and sleeves have an embossed look to their lace, while the skirt is trimmed in an open weave of a different style that certainly caught my attention :) The short hem will probably attract others' attention as well, a different story indeed.Whew, it was chilly in here but now it is starting to get warm again, so weird. My weekend was busy but good, starting with the very enjoyable farmers market trip Saturday. There was an occasional vendor who made an unscheduled appearance, so surprise pierogis, yay! Therapy was decent, and I've got a few things planned for the upcoming week that should be helpful. Simply the Best
Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to see some wonderful gifts for the Best stores and designers group, which is free to join. The notices are full of helpful info about new releases and special sales, while all the participating designers have the option to put a gift out in their main store for the group. It's always exciting to explore and see what's new in all of these locations, whether they are new to me or old favorites.
For my first look I've visited ~Rany~ and happily claimed their Wella Outfit FATPACK gift. Its corset and pants are all packed by color (black, blue, nude, peach, violet, and yellow for each) in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. I'm wearing the blue corset and peach pants on the left, with the black corset and violet pants making an appearance on the right :) You can easily wear either piece with other items in your inventory too, so they are quite versatile as well as stylish.
As a matter of fact I'm wearing the black pants from the Rany gift here with our *Arcane Spellcaster* Top Katyna bright Red gift. It is truly lovely with that halter style and ruffled lace band to match the pretty little collar. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. Please note that there are many other colors of this cutie for various other groups, so if red isn't your favorite color or you just want to collect them all (I wouldn't blame you!) see if you are a member of any of the other groups.
If you stop by [Diesel Deluxe] you can pop into their gift room for the Melani Outfit Top + Skirt 10. This fun look is actually worn as one piece with different textures on the top and skirt sections, each adorned with white bows that add a little something special. We receive Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu sizes in this thoughtful gift. I absolutely could not resist sharing the ART & FASHION - DEMONS MINI DRESS gift once I read the front! It reads "I have the power to conquer all my demons." and believe me, I can only hope that I personally do. The calming shades of blue are making me think of the sky, freeing and wide open to possibilities :) Our dress has crisp rectangular cutouts and comes in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies.
My final look of the night can be all yours for visiting V8 Underground with the group tag active. It's called **DINA HABISHI SALMON RISQUE STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** and can help us hold onto summer a little longer with a fun tropical feel. I love the salmon color, both as the solid hue and as the background color for our gorgeous floral pattern. The fans in the design make me think it's an Asian nod, and they just generally add to the beauty.Are we all ready for the weekend? I think I am, and the farmers market tomorrow will be relatively quiet (no food truck) but one of my favorite vendors will be back after her Alaskan cruise. I can't wait to hear all about it :) Dinner with my parents was nice, and I'll have to wait and see if they decide to go to the farmers market when I do since they might skip it this week. Treats from Melody
Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to share that the Melody store's group is currently free to join, with lots of generous gifts waiting for us. I feel like it is usually free during December because of their Advent calendar, so now I'm curious if they just took away the fee early or if they are planning something else sooner. Either way, I would hurry on over if you like what you see :) Obviously I appreciate their generosity and am always pleased to freshen up my wardrobe.
For my first look I chose the lovely Melody Venus Fat Pack group gift. Its top and skirt each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a pair of HUDs, one for solid colors and one for a pattern of hearts, each offering 20 colors each for the skirt, top, and skirt fringe. I love being able to mix things up like this, and hearts will always catch my attention.
The MELODY KARLA FATPACK BOX UPDATE gift is a stunning dress with intriguing style, and I suggest you check to see if you've got a previous version since it mentions an update (could be more colors or sizes). There are sizes for Kalhene, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies, and the gift also includes a HUD to select from 20 solid colors and 10 patterns. I tend to show off the patterns more than solids, simply because it's easier for you to visualize a solid color than be able to tell precisely what the patterns will look like. Different moods will lead me to either equally :) Although I must say, that snakeskin pattern I found on the left above is hot!
Next I slipped into the MELODY CINTIA FATPACK gift. This dress has so many fantastic details, like the crossed straps and underbust opening, but the sheer panels both front and back of the skirt are noteworthy because of the HUD :) That offers 20 solid colors and 20 patterns each for the dress and sheer panels, so we've got plenty of ways to explore our creativity. We receive Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizes in this treat.
So I may have gotten a little pattern-happy here, LOL, but no regrets ;) The Melody Arielle// FATPACK dress can be textured in your choice of 20 solids or 20 patterns via HUD, and comes in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. I'm definitely a "floral all year long" type of person, and the pink cat heads made me think of my favorite Hello Kitty ♥.
One final peek of the evening, we have the MELODY SALMA FATPACK outfit :) The top, belt, and pants are separates in sizes for Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. As you can tell, there is also a HUD enclosed, offering 20 colors for each piece. I'm always drawn to halter tops, and the dip of the pants waistline works perfectly with the style of the belt. There's something classic and intriguing about flare pantlegs too, but these are not your momma's bellbottoms ;)Well, my dental visit went decently and my filling is safely replaced. It was a front-ish tooth, canine I believe, and somehow in the numbing process we got exactly half of my nose numb too. Weirdly the numbness decided to stick around for over 8 hours, which makes it scary to eat because you don't want to nibble on a numb lip. All good now, and I had fun chatting with friends for our gaming night so I am just stressed about the storms ripping through my area yet again. It has been a rough summer for thunderstorms, which makes me wonder what winter will be like. Newest from Blackstone
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post bring us back to Blackstone for their newest group gifts in the box that is special for their anniversary. Their group has returned to $100L to join today (after I took these photos and notes) so I do hope you were able to join when it was just $25L. However it is still quite a bargain, knowing there are over 50 group gifts and 5 lucky boards with two prizes in each that we can win for free with that group tag. Tonight's featured group gifts are all from the new box next to the birthday sign, above all the other gifts (6 other packages on shelves under the stairs) that I am sure you will enjoy too :) Many congratulations to Blackstone on their 7 years of bringing wonderful fashions to SL!
Let's start with a sunny hued group gift called Blackstone - Brenda Set - Yellow. It consists of the dress, bra top, and thong panties you see above, all in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD enclosed with 6 metals for the decor on the dress, which really adds a playful touch :) The dress is just loose enough to fit over the bikini, so it would be easy to wear the full outfit to the beach or a pool and then slip off the dress before diving into the water. The loose weave of the dress gives it a warm summery feeing too, great for any chance to recreate your favorite vacation memories.
The Blackstone - Erika Set - Marine group gift is a sweet pairing of blouse and skirt that feels just right for fall. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included for each, as well as a HUD that offers 15 colors apiece for the blouse and buttons. The skirt stays its lovely dark blue shade, and we can play around with the colors of its buttons and the intriguing blouse with its notches above each elbow. So pretty!
There are so many gorgeous shades of pink, but the Blackstone - Amora Set - Copper Rose group gift might be in my favorite of the moment ;) The wispy top, open front skirt, and panties are all provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies, and there's a HUD that lets us choose from 20 colors for the laces and 6 for the metals. The top is laced in the back just like the skirt's front only tighter, and both laced areas have rivets which is where the metal comes in.
Next I changed into the fun and fuzzy Blackstone - Vada Set - Malibu group gift. Is it weird that it makes me want to pet myself like a puppy? LOL! I actually used to do that to my ex when he wore a microsuede (?) jacket, just kept stroking his arms and shoulders until he laughed and teased me about it. This is more of a fleece look on our cropped jacket and skirt, which both fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The color reminds me of the sky during a mostly clear day, as I could see the texture as being tiny wispy clouds drifting along in a refreshing breeze. My brain really wakes up when I see colors or textures that I love :)
My final look feels so right for the start of September which brings us one big step closer to spooky season. The Blackstone - Arania Set - Plum group gift We start with a high cut bodysuit decorated in cobwebs, over which we can layer a micro miniskirt with attached belt. Each of these comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies, and the HUD included offers 20 colors for the belt and 4 metals. There is an impressive amount of metalwork here, so the HUD is certainly going to come in handy.Happy September, everyone! I love when the month changes and all the hunts and events in SL get fresh starts. Today was quiet as I mentally prepare for tomorrow's filling redo, since I just love going back to the dentist 🙄. It is necessary and I am the one who brought it to their attention since the jagged edge kept snagging in the inside of my lip, and I will truly be glad to have that repaired. I'll be ready with soft foods and ibuprofen on the off chance it's needed, plus perhaps an extra half dose of an as-needed medication. Hiya everyone! Tonight I was feeling the urge to visit some FabFree in SL participating stores, because there are always wonderful new group gifts being added all the time. The group (inworld representation of their amazing blog) is free to join, so these won't cost a thing :) The FabFree group has a permanent place among my group slots, and I am so grateful for how they have guided me all through my SL experience which will be 19 years in a few days. (Wow!) You never know what treasures you can find on their blog, so I do recommend it for everyone who enjoys saving money in SL.
Our first visit is to FTCOR, where the :::FurtaCor::: Andy Set waits for any FabFree member. The tube top and laced pants are each provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, and there is also a HUD that offers 15 colors apiece for the top, top laces, pants, and pants laces. I love the ability to mix and match, and the flashes of skin make this a flirtatious treat indeed.
I feel so adorable in our gift from :.C!L.: Boutique called Nephele Dotty White Sweater Shorts & Bow Set :) The polka dotted sweater falls just above the belly button, and is a loose cozy fit that is suitable for most times of the year. Paired with the pleated and cuffed shorts, we've got an elegant yet playful outfit that does make me think of autumn evenings. Each of these will fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course the sunny yellow bow I'm wearing here on my head is included too, and you can even adjust it by clicking it to access the resize script.
Another fun way to turn heads is by wearing the Violet Skies - Anja Dress Blue Gift like I am here. Shiny tiger striped blue fabric is already a fantastic start, but then we add the draped chain belt and get va-va-va-VOOM! The style of the dress is essential too, and this one has a bare back and sexy cutouts, so we get to show off cleavage. The "VOOH" FABFREE GROUP GIFT #20 DRESS is my next look, a stunning minidress with spaghetti straps and a deep neckline. There is also a HUD with 40 texture options, some solids and plenty of intriguing patterns in loads of fun colors.
My final look of the evening is our .:FlowerDreams:. Nadia dress. This is a great choice for a hot date, or to attract a hot date ;) It is provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite Sizes, with panties in the same set of sizing. There's also a HUD of course, and that has 14 options for the dress and 8 colors for the lace panties. I must admit that the shiny metallic ones caught my eye first, but this dress looks good in any texture.It was a busy day and a good evening so far, starting with a support group session that I found quite useful. It's nice to talk to people who can understand the battles against anxiety and how it affects so many aspects of life. We can feel safe to laugh, cry, and share things we can't always with friends or family. The weather is still pretty hot here, as a matter of fact it's 75.5 in my office right now which is not ideal. More Blackstone Gifts
Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of the Blackstone group gifts I showed you some of yesterday, as there are over 50 gifts waiting for us there. The group is currently $25L to join, and it's a great time to join while they celebrate the brand's 7th birthday :) There are lucky boards for the group members on the left when you first land, and the group gifts from tonight (and last post) are behind the staircase (not up!) ahead and to the right. There are 7 boxes (new bonus box among them for the anniversary) that each contain lots of gifts, so be sure to click them all. I am not certain how long the group's fee will be this low, or how long the 10 bonus gifts from the celebration, so I do hope you are able to hurry there!
We start off with the gorgeous Blackstone - Claire Set - Fatpack. This gift includes the corset top and miniskirt, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The HUD offers 15 colors apiece for the top and skirt, as well as 4 metal tones. My favorite detail is the lace accents appearing on both pieces, the center insets of the corset and the short ruffled layer on the fluttery skirt.
Our Blackstone - Delilah Dress - Salmon is just the thing to help fan the flames of desire. The fiery shape of the cutouts is an intricate work of art, both back and front of this flirty frock. We receive Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes of this beauty. The salmon color is a really attractive choice by the way, with a slight shimmer that also caught my eye. The name made two different songs pop into my head, although I'm not as familiar with the Tom Jones song as I am with Hey There Delilah somehow. Then the color and dress name made me think Samson and Delilah, so my brain was pulling all sorts of associations out of this one!
Maybe you prefer your dresses to have belts attached and with several colors to choose from? If so I'd love to suggest the Blackstone - Victoria Dress - Fatpack group gift for your next night out :) It has a carefully peaked and plunging neckline that goes down to the belt, and the diagonal hem is a fantastic touch. It intrigues me when lace is used in combination with other materials to be edgy rather than sweetly feminine. It's an underrated versatile fabric for sure! The Blackstone - Kareen Dress - Cherry has broad scoops of lace on each hip, and the leather is trimmed with chains and studs that will absolutely turn heads. Our gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes, along with a HUD for us to select from 6 metals for those chains and studs I mentioned. This dress makes me want to hit up a club that plays rock music all day and night, preferably from last century ;)
My final look of the evening is our Blackstone - Francis Set - Fatpack group gift, which I think will be very weather-appropriate very soon :) The crop top and pants each fit Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The top has an interesting style, being sleeveless and layered with a tube top beneath a tiny hoodie. The pants have a very classic jeans style with front pockets but smooth rear, formfitting like skinny jeans. I'll probably wear these pieces individually on occasion too, particularly since there are separate tops among the group gifts.This weekend felt oddly long, yet I am still surprised it's over already. I think my Saturdays being broken up by a few hours sleep then going out, then coming home and sleeping in the late afternoon for a few more hours is to blame because Saturday feels like two separate days that way. The farmers market was fun though, and the Boston terrier I usually see there was pouting because his favorite treat-giver was absent (on a cruise) so he didn't want to leave. He'd gotten treats but not from her, lol, so he was sitting down in protest as his human begged him to cooperate. I missed her too, but look forward to seeing her next week to hear all about her vacation. Tomorrow evening is a support group meeting, so I'm mentally preparing to try to be helpful without triggering anyone by discussing the dentist. Lots of us have phobias about that one. Blackstone Birthday
Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting Blackstone for some gifts connected to their birthday celebration. The group is currently $25L to join, and there are 5 lucky boards for the group immediately to the left when you land. As for the group gifts I'm featuring tonight, please walk towards the stairs on the right but not up them; continue past and you'll see a Group Gifts sign with 6 clickable boxes on the shelves on either side of the sign. Each of these contains several treats, as there is a total of over 50 waiting for us! That's absolutely worth the price of admission, right? :) It's always a delight to share in the joy that designers experience when they reach a milestone with their brand, and I wish them many more years of success bringing amazing fashions to SL.
We start with the lovely Blackstone - Juliet Dress - Burgundy group gift. The color really caught my eye for the weekend in particular, and the strapless style with plunging lace-edged neckline is sizzling hot. The zipper up the back is a fun detail, and can be adjusted with the HUD that offers 4 metal tones for it. We receive the dress in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.
I'm feeling fancy yet flirty here in our gift called Blackstone - Fiorella Set - Petrol. The deep teal hue is very flattering with most hair colors and skin tones, and it's still warm enough to enjoy shorts :) Those shorts along with the blazer and lace bra top are all included in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu sizes. I can also picture pairing the blazer and shorts with a BOM top of some sort, probably a neutral like black or white, if you just felt the urge for variety.
You didn't think I would miss out on an opportunity to wear something pink, did you? :) This beauty is our Blackstone - Onyx Dress - Blush group gift, and it's funny that I was talking about the stone onyx just a couple of hours before taking this photo, so that also felt like this was meant to be shared right now. There are Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes included, all with that great combo of satin and lace. The lace is fairly sheer, so I'd recommend adding your favorite panties and pasties in a pale color if needed for modesty. Otherwise you just might find yourself blushing like the color name ;)
I'm always happy to be able to adjust colors on my SL fashions, so the Blackstone - Serena Dress - Gift is just my style. The dress is a sexy little number of lace and satin, in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. It also includes a HUD with 5 colors each for the dress and lace, 10 for the gemstones, and 4 metals, so we can customize this in all sorts of fabulous ways. I'm always fascinated by how detailed SL lace can be, and it suits this dress quite nicely.
My final look of the night is a great choice if you're done with the heat of summer and just want to represent autumn with your wardrobe. Our Blackstone - Kasey Suspender Jumpsuit - Malibu group gift consists of the crop top and suspender jumpsuit, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a handy HUD. The HUD has 16 color choices for the crop top, and 4 metals for those shiny details like zippers and suspender clasps. Side note, wearing a physics layer with a crop top can make photography a slower process, waiting for everything to stop jiggling long enough for a photo and not look like they're going to bounce loose ;) I had lag happening too, not the best timing.My dental visit went just how I feared unfortunately, as I had a little issue I didn't mention to anyone ahead of time. An old gumline filling had developed a sharp edge, so I was hoping that they could smooth it out but knew deep down that they'd have to redo the filling in the near future. That near future is this coming Wednesday, LOL, and they did say that there was a hint of a cavity (whitish halo effect) around it, probably because food was getting stuck no matter how hard I brushed. It's fine, I'm not thrilled but I know I am in good hands there and will muddle through the anxiety. Meanwhile my dad had an angiogram earlier in the day to check his heart and arteries for blockages. They went in through his wrist, and didn't find any full blockages but a long area of plaque that is too large for a stent. He's taking medication for a few weeks, then following up with the cardiologist to see if it is working. We had dinner together tonight and he was dine, no pain or discomfort at all, just some bruising because he is on blood thinners. He just rolls with these things and handles them like a champ, like I am genuinely in awe of how calm and stoic he is about the health issues he has had. I aspire to be that easygoing about, well, anything LOL. I'm definitely going to have a part two (and probably more) of these Blackstone group goodies, and September will be here soon with all sorts of new adventures in SL. Light of a Clear Blue Morning
Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for some Blue SL event group gifts, which means it's also time for me to find a song title with "blue" in it for my post title. It's a habit I started and can't seem to break, LOL, but it also shows how much I continue to enjoy this particular event :) Each round is open from the 18th of one month to the 8th of the following one, so you've got almost 2 weeks left to stop by, join the free group, and claim all these generous gifts and more. The bikini is solid pink, while the skirt and sleeves of the shrug have a lovely floral pattern that made me smile. Honestly I have an entire collection of their gifts from various events and groups in teal and pink like this, and I LOVE them all! Hiya everyone! Tonight I'll share a secret with you, which is where I've been hanging out lately :) That would be AMUI, because they have 5 lucky chairs that are jam packed with treats to win, and no group tag is needed to win. I also love the satiny ribbons that connect our halter top and skirt sections, tied with a fluttery bow that dangles down the back of the skirt almost to its hem.

The Warehouse Sale
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post celebrates the 6th birthday of The Warehouse Sale event. This long running sales event is post-apocalyptic themed, which is a suggestion to the designers rather than a requirement. They each offer at least one item at a 10% - 50% discount, and many of them are also offering a gift for the event's group (free to join) in crates between the booths. Some have a picture of the gift on the crate, while many others are going to be a complete surprise when we open the folder :) There were so many delightful accessories among these gifts that you can really get creative with new looks.
I'm starting things out on the sexy side, thanks to our [Glitzz] Zaide Lingerie - Blush gift. It consists of the top, panties, and garter (waist) each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 3 metals for the little clasps on the panties. Please note that I am wearing nipple covers that came with my skin, so the sheer bra will probably reveal your nipples if you aren't wearing something similar. I do enjoy the strapless style of the bra (so uncomfy in RL, so pretty in SL!) and the G-string panties are also much easier to wear in SL.
Next I changed into [The Forge] Cammy. Black, a stunning gift of strapless bra and shrug jacket. Surely I can't be the only one who loves when long sleeves extend to wrap around our palms and loop over the thumb? :) Both pieces come in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes. I've got a bazillion strapless or sleeveless tops that I'd love to wear this shrug with, at least once the cooler weather rolls in.
Please excuse me for turning my back to you, but it's really the only way to show off my new tattoo ;) This beauty is also a group gift here, the A.D.D.Andel! Saturn Zodiac Back Tattoo, provided in a simple BOM layer. I recognized Saturn because of the ring, and I do know some but not all of the zodiac symbols offhand...that is actually okay though since they are all labeled :) The tattoo is a very nice opacity level that looks realistic yet still photographed very well.
I am still laughing because before I unpacked our .:Fio's - Lana Ice Cream - fatpack:. gift I was expecting a cone or cones to hold in either hand. Then I saw body sizes and was intrigued! This gift actually includes the handheld cones for left or right, and the worn ice cream in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. The HUD for the handheld cone offers 9 ice cream flavors and 3 colors for the cone, just click the outline on the HUD for the part you wish to tint. There is a similar HUD for the worn ice cream, which you can also access the various parts by clicking the different sections. It has 9 ice cream flavors, 5 colors for the cookie center, and 6 for the sprinkles. Be prepared for people to want to line up to help you clean up this mess ;)

Inside Your Inventory Gifts
Hiya everyone! Tonight I zipped all around SL to some wonderful stores, looking for gifts to share for the Inside Your Inventory group. It's just $10L to join, and lots of great designers taking part by sending notices about their newest releases and sales. Of course they also have the option to offer a group gift in their store for us members, and I am grateful for that as well :) I never know what amazing gifts I'll find, so this type of post is always an adventure with fantastic rewards.
This gorgeous outfit is the Bens Beauty - Persea Skirt & Top group gift for Inside Your Inventory. They have a wall full of treats for various groups with white hovertext indicating which group, so you might see other familiar names too :) Our top and skirt both fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 10 solid colors for the skirt, and the same 10 solids plus 7 patterns for the top. We can have a fun time experimenting with those buttons, and I especially like the bare shouldered style of the top.
BlondeQueen is offering a cleverly crafted pair of dresses in one great gift called BQ::Karissa Mini Dress w/Scarf:: White & Black. The built in scarf really stands out both literally and figuratively, with one side draped around the right arm and the other flowing out and behind us like we're in a breeze. The black and white versions are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the patterns on each being similar yet distinct, and the monochromatic look is simply marvelous. Some days I want to wear all the colors, others I might be craving one (like today I must wear pink, tomorrow I need bright green) but yet other times it's so fun to go classic black and white.

For my final look of the evening, I stopped by HORL and found the lovely Cammy Dress as our current group gift. The snowy white fabric has a subtle knit texture, and the dress is gathered on the left with strings that tie on the left thigh to raise it ever so slightly. There are sizes included for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can get quite creative with accessorizing this one, either adding tons of colors or keeping things neutral. It just depends on your mood and your personal style :)How was everyone's weekend? Mine was a mixed bag really, but I am trying to go into the week ahead with a positive mindset. The farmers market was quiet but the weather was good, and my favorite dog was there being his usual adorable self :) Therapy was intense, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing...sometimes I have to face hard truths and it feels good to get things off my chest. Cremosas Sequel
Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two from last night, the daily calendar of group gifts from Cremosas store. These are all for their free group, and each date's gift actually consists of 2 (older from a prior round and brand new) so there are lots of generous goodies waiting for us :) I've always been so grateful for their kindness in helping people look chic on a budget, particularly useful when RL isn't getting any more affordable these days. So I enjoy being able to share these gifts and invite you to do some shopping here as well to support the designer :)
My first look of the evening is our Cremosas - A 2 gift. This sporty treat includes the top and shorts each in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There are fun white stripes down the sides of each, and I must admit that the short shorts do give us a cheeky rear view ;)
I've never seen a swimsuit quite like the Cremosas - A 10 gift, and I must say I am absolutely a fan! The triangular openings on the top remind me of a bowtie or an hourglass, and the silky fabric texture is always a plus. This treat includes Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing, which is fairly standard for these current gifts.
The weekend is here, and if you need a flirty going-out dress, I suggest the Cremosas - A 14 gift. Day 14's dress has a single long sleeve and a playful skirt that is tied on one side and held together with three straps on the other hip. We receive sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, so this fits lots of popular brands and even accommodates the extra bosomy Bombshell.
Cremosas - A 19 is a flirtatious pairing of strapless top and ruffled skirt with built in panties. Like all of these gifts, it definitely looks fantastic in blue :) There are Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included of each, and I would be tempted to mix and match with other gifts if the mood struck me.
For my final look of the night, I am really cranking up the sex appeal with our Cremosas - A 15 gift! This slip of a dress has a dramatic opening showing cleavage and navel, while the sides of the skirt are also notched for flashes of both hips. Gifts from Cremosas
Hiya everyone! Tonight we're trying on some of the wonderful group gifts from Cremosas store on their daily calendar for August. Each month they offer a new gift each day for their free group, much like an Advent calendar but we don't have to wait for the chilly festive month of December ;) I like to stop by towards the middle to end of the month when there are plenty of treats ready, and you could theoretically visit the last day of each month for a bounty of gifts that will all be ready to claim. Another fun fact is that there is an older gift from prior rounds included along with the new one, so if you missed out on previous years you have a new chance to grab those as well. They are mainly sized for Belleza (Freya, Isis, Venus), Maitreya, and Slink bodies, so if you are still rocking the more classic bodies then this is especially fortuitous :) Our color this month looks to be blue, so if you want to stock up on some sapphire hued freebies, you know where to go and what free group to join.
My first look of the evening is our Cremosas - A 1 gift, whose name indicates that it's the gift from day 1. The dress has a strong lingerie feeling with the corset boning and fishnet on the midriff, and laced openings on both sides front and back of the skirt. It fits Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as do most of tonight's looks.
Day 3's gift is the flirty Cremosas - A 3 dress, and as you can tell I'm just randomly picking gifts to show off because they're all wonderful :) This sleeveless dress has daring openings down each side that are held in place by 3 sets of crossed straps, which is why I can't exactly call it strapless. The satin texture is a favorite of mine, showing little wrinkles and having an elegant sheen. Because of the sides I think we need a C-string for beneath, and I'm sure I have lots of those in my inventory.
Time to get a little more revealing with the Cremosas - A 6 gift :) This one has a top and thong, each in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Our top has heart shaped openings in the front, and the thong is notched in its front for even more of a peekaboo feeling. With the strap around the neck like a choker, we don't even need to add jewelry, at least not a necklace :)
I'm really a fan of our Cremosas - A 9 gift, for its halter neckline, gathered bust causing a peekaboo midriff, and that fun diagonal hem! This sweet dress comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The shade of blue seems a bit more smoky yet a little lighter than other gifts this month, so there is a nice variety among not only the styles but the shades of blue they have selected.
For my final look of the evening, I couldn't resist our Cremosas - A 5 gown for a special evening out. The mermaid style full length dress is provided in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The way it hugs our curves is fantastic, and it makes sense for it to flare out around the calves so we can walk easier in it. This shade of blue seems to have a dusky tint of turquoise, very pretty!It's been a wild couple of days, and I am a bit sleep deprived (again). The plans for my outing yesterday were changed a few times at the last minute, but it went fairly well overall. Then today happened, LOL, where I was awoken by a frantic housemate who insisted that we must leave the house for safety because of a tornado watch (or warning, I honestly forget which). I'm like but WAIT, the car is the most dangerous place to be...housemate was insistent, so I got dressed and very begrudgingly got in the car. It was anticlimactic, although when we returned home the power had gone out and it proceeded to go out twice more in a 5 minute span. Either the generator was having an issue, or the power came back just enough to tell the generator to turn off and then the power crapped out. Sound fun? It was barely stable by the time I was due to play games with my friends, but that went without a hitch so WHEW. Housemate has a head cold or something, and I've got a tiny bit of a sore throat, so I am not 100% sure yet about going to my parents' for dinner tomorrow but we'll see. My sore throat could be allergy related, as they've been bad this week. More FLF Bday Bash
Hiya everyone! Tonight it's my pleasure to share some more group gifts from the FLF Bday Bash '26 event, free for all who have their FLF group tag active. So I'm starting out with the ELEVEN - Elara Dress [FATPACK] gift, ideal for those times when you just want to hang out with friends or someone special and have fun :) The t-shirt dress and sweater wrapped around the hips are one mesh piece, in sizing for Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. Delights from Diversify
Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Diversify Event, which is open every month from the 15th to the 29th. They are described as a boutique shopping experience curated for the eclectic soul, and I can certainly see that :) They have gifts for their free group each round, and those are what I am delighted to show you some of this evening. I found some exceptional treats here, and with them I am enjoying the last full month of summer in style :)
My first look is a pairing of two gifts, starting with the Artistic Eye - Eye Roll Tank. The wording reads "Oh, I'm sorry...did my eye roll disturb your drama? Let me clutch my pearls GASP!" next to an image of a sassy woman who has clearly perfected the art of expressing herself with her eyes. The tank top comes in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, layered in the front and mostly bare in the back other than the crossed straps. My cheery shorts are the Duet Quinn Shorts Canopy gift, with built in belt and vibrant leaves in plenty of fun hues as our pattern. They have a button fly and front pockets, but a smooth rear with no pockets back there to distract from our natural curves :)
I also wore the Duet shorts to share another duet of gifts ;) Sorry, puns and wordplay make me giggle! The top on the left above is our [LWD] Becca Crop Top Black - Logo gift from LiveWire Designs. Does anyone else automatically picture Sandy from Grease and her outfit from the ending scene with this bare shouldered style? :) It has the store's logo on the front, and is provided in Gen X Classic, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizing. Then on the right I changed into the REVOLUTION - Hazel Top (Good Vibes) gift, which does bring good vibes as advertised on the front with that retro design of happy mushrooms and flowers. Next we see the lovely Violet Skies - Yara Retro Dress gift. It includes both the dress and a pair of panties (solid green) in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. I really like the plunging neckline and the funky vintage pattern, reminds me of fireworks and something I saw in family photos from the 60s. Was it the wallpaper or a table? The word Sputnik also popped into my head, so I'm just sticking with vintage vibes :)
Moonstar has a terrific gift for us too, their *V* Summer T-Shirt and Shorts. The image on the front of our shirt is bursting with tropical color, thanks to the flowers, butterflies, and macaw (one of the most gorgeous parrots in my opinion) with a sign that says "HELLO SUMMER". The butter yellow shirt goes so well with the hot pink shorts too, definitely made me smile.
My final look of the evening is a closeup view of another gift, the Frick-n-Frack Claw Nails Style #014. I just noticed that I am accidentally piercing my lip with a sharp stiletto thumbnail, LOL! These nails are easy to wear, just use your body's HUD to hide the built in nails and add these in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, or Reborn sizes. Each nail pairing (both pinkies, both index fingers, etc.) has a different design, lots of black with gold and silver abounding :) I will absolutely be enjoying these in October too, with some of my spookier wardrobe pieces.Whew, it's been a busy evening! I am still a little dizzy from yesterday's attempt to switch to my new glasses, but it is getting better. Support group meeting went really well, and I am grateful to have people I can feel comfortable with to talk about our anxiety. FLF Bday Bash
Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited about the FLF Bday Bash '26, which is short for the Fifty Linden Fridays sales event and their birthday bash. I enjoyed it very much last year too, so of course when I found out about this round I was a very eager magpie :) For lots of events with group gifts you'd be looking for traditionally styled giftboxes, but here at FLF the gift holders are cups of rainbow shaved ice like a snowcone but in cup form. I'm starting out the post with the very sexy Casadel "Lily" Mini Dress Purple gift. The lavender shade is stunning, and I'm captivated by the daring openings and loosely laced skirt slit. I suspect that -Pixicat- is celebrating Summerween with their Ema Kimono (Bats) gift :) Either that or it's just a nod to Halloween a tiny bit early, and I expect lots of you will find that appealing. The modern styled kimono has a wide pleated belt and short skirt, while the top is even more faithful to the traditional garment. I've combined two wonderful gifts here, so let's start from the top. That would be our [WAZ] Contour Rib Lounge Shirt (250 Stars) gift from Wazzer Works. Paparazzi Goodies
Hiya everyone! Tonight's post will have you looking for cameras, which appear on the Paparazzi group sign which is nearby each of the gifts I'm sharing. This is a wonderful multi-designer group, currently free to join, and brings together lots of brands with notices about their new releases, special sales, and more. They can also offer a gift for the group if they wish, and that's what you will be seeing in this post :) You might want to take pictures too, just not skulking in the bushes like the RL paps ;) I do have a Lady Gaga earworm as a result of course, but just about every song I think about gets stuck in my head eventually so that will change many times before I wrap things up.
First up, we see the lovely Ozana Set by BlackbirdLace. I think the warm color of the shirt feels autumnal, and I always look for new casual sets to wear when the weather cools off.

For my final look of the night I've added a stunning gift from LUMINESSE jewelry. Their LUM-Abundant Love Aqua Pendant reminds me of peacock feathers somehow (and yes, that is a good thing) with amethysts dotting the aqua hearts so beautifully. The necklace is adjustable and has a resize script built in, so just give it a click to change the size and right click - edit to move the positioning. I nudged it down and rotated it a little but kept the size the same for this photo, and I think it suits my shape well :) There are so many styles of shirt or dress that we can wear this necklace with, I'm excited to add it to my virtual jewelry box.Yesterday was a busy but decent day, and my appointment went smoothly so all is well. The extra stops after were annoying but necessary, which is a huge part of adulting lately anyway ;) I could really tell how bad my vision is getting from the cataracts while in the car (as a passenger only) yesterday and today, so I really do need to get all that moving along. Sunflower Hunting
Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going hunting, primarily the Malus Park Sunflower Hunt. That sends us searching for pretty yellow sunflowers which are each $5L or less, so there are bargains galore at each stop on the hunt path :) For a bit of variety I am also sharing a CMH Kawaii Summer hunt prize from one of the sunflower hunt stops (Ari-Pari ♥) who were not ready yet when I first blogged selections from that hunt but are good to go now. We all know that RL can become very complex and interfere with time in SL, so I am very understanding and just glad to see that the designer was able to participate after all. It's very exciting to share these budget-friendly beauties with all of you :)
@rOrO is offering their beautiful Khloe Blouse Sunflowers as a $2L prize, and I simply adore it :) The pattern of course matches the theme perfectly, and the style is intriguing with the full long sleeves and deep plunging back. Addicted to Gifts
Hiya everyone! Tonight I hopped around the grid to find gifts for the *Addicted to offers and gifts* group, which is currently free to join. These multi-designer groups are a fantastic source of info, as the designers can send notices about their new releases and special sales as well as offering treats for the group's members in their stores. I'm happy that there are so many for us to enjoy :)
Our first stop is Andare, to pick up their lovely Robin Dress FATPACK gift. It feels very summery with the bare arms, floral pattern, and intriguing hemline that shows off plenty of leg :) There are sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Signature Alice, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies included. We also receive a HUD with 11 colors apiece for the top, straps, belt, and skirt, so we can mix and match to our heart's content. Note - this gift was next to a 30L$ 30M sign rather than the group's sign, a fact I discovered by area searching for the group name :)
Speaking of beautiful floral designs, the [K-Style] KARINA DRESS #17 group gift is a bodycon strapless dress that is blooming with pink roses and soft greenery on the fabric. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and I think it will be easy to dress up or down depending on the accessories you choose.
The next step after wet t-shirts must be wet tank tops, right? Our Tchelo's gift is their T TOP Wet'n wild, and it certainly lives up to the name :) There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature, Hourglass, Physique, Star, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh bodies. Also included are a BOM layer of water drops that appear on the upper chest, and a HUD with 8 textures including the white wet one on the left above. The others, even another white one, are solid colors. It's worth noting that I am wearing nipple covers that came with my skin, otherwise I think they would be fairly visible through the wet looking fabric.
Melody is a wonderful store whose owner seems to be the creator of this group, and so it makes sense that they are offering not just one but two generous treats for the members. This is the Sarabi// FATPACK gift, with top and skirt in sizes for Classic, Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn each, plus a HUD that lets us choose from 26 colors each for the top, top ruffle, and skirt. I love the versatility of lace like this flirty ruffle, really bringing something special to our look.
My final look this evening is their other treat called Melody Camela Gift Melody Christmas 23-24, and despite the name I think it is appropriate to wear any day of the year :) This sexy dress comes in sizing for Classic, Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD which offers 20 colors apiece for the top, strap, skirt, and clasps, plus 3 metals. The daring side opening makes me think that a c-string (maybe one from last night's post!) would come in very handy here :)My day was relatively quiet, and I expect tomorrow to be similar.
