 Hello all! Yet again, we are closing another week in good ‘ole Phil’s Place. And, yet again, I have picked a Best and a Worst of the Week. Why do I do this weekly post, you ask? Because…well, just because I want to.

     The Best of the Week goes to Maitreya. I am in love love love with their new hair textures! I’ve been a fan of their shoes, but wasn’t too crazy about their hair. That is until this week! The new textures are pure perfection and look perfectly real. I want to reach into my computer screen and touch it. Also, the fact that they listen to their customers makes me like this brand even more. The “Loose Bun” was originally just used as a color demo. But, so many customers begged for it to be released as a style we could purchase, they did just that. And, all in about a weeks time. Great customer service and even better hair!

     For the Worst of the Week, I am going to go with all the “witch hunting” that has been going on with the blogs. Is Minnu Model Skins ripping off textures? Is it wrong that the Juicy Shoes used the term “Stiletto Moody” in their key words under search? Is Cachet ripping off RL designers? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah…The amount of drama on the boards this week has been exceptionaly high. While I do believe the consumer has a right to know what they are buying, I think it is extremely unfair to the creators that their names are being dragged through the mud before they can even comment on whether it is true or not. Am I going to comment on what I think about MMS’s “stealing” or Juicy being “unethical”? Nope. I’m just going to call all this “he-said-she-said” the Worst of the Week, post my little blog, and go back to buying what I like because I like it (and hope that everyone else does the same).

I’ve been trying to get away from pink. This outfit really started with the intricate necklace, which is an orangey sort of red, so I had to be careful what to put next to it. This top with the raggedy edge was simple and it seemed to the right sort of style to go with the irregular shape of the necklace. I picked up the red theme in bracelet and shoes. I started by wearing a Last Call skirt with it - which I prefer really - but the larger pic shows a skirt that you can still buy, from the same place I got the top - it does go well with the bracelet, too. I liked both the hairstyles with this outfit, but the Magika one is more dramatic.

Is it me or has the new viewer made feet look better? Before that, even at size zero, bits of my feet used to sort of ooze out of the sides of Maitreya shoes, but now they are just perfect

Sometimes I like to be a wall flower. Today is not one of those days.

I’m jumping up and down in my black stilettos for this one, Aden Breyer made not only one adorably cute new hair this week (the pony tail called SARAH) but OMG another stunning creation of long, yummy locks called ANNYKA. ( /me drools )

Again, Aden gives us a versatile hair that comes with a skull and spine attachment, allowing you to play around and mix and mash hair into yummy styles.

I love how this new style has a sweet and sexy layered bang that lays across your face. The long layers are excellent and give a very cool and fun look.

Earlier today, Aden sent out a teaser pic to the group and it was a HOT sneak peek of the two new hair releases coming soon!! ( /me fans myself off from the picture Aden teased everyone with ).

So everyone keep a look out for Aden’s release of ANNYKA and SARAH, they are a must have in your Aden Hair inventory.

I’m feeling creative and silly right now but it’s worth it because I get to show you one of the new upcoming hair releases by the silliest, funniest and sweetest, ADEN BREYER.

I was at Armidi the other evening and from out of nowhere this cute, little button of a thing shouts, “KALLISTO”. It was of course, Aden. She ran up and gave me a big bear hug. She was cracking me up and also definitely on an Armidi shopping mission. : )

Aden graciously gave me her new upcoming hair style called SARAH, which is a full, sort of teased, high pony tail with sexy bangs and pieces that fall a tad bit over your face which I find very sexy. I absolutely LUV this new hair. I had the dark brown pony tail on the first night and now I can’t take off the black one. Luv, luv, luv it. It’s coming soon, so keep an eye out for her release announcement. 

I took these pictures last night while I was chilling out at my new house I purchased which I’m slowly decorating and thought that while I’m putting things around my place and deciding where to hang my paintings I should show everyone this awesome new hair since I was wearing it all day long.
