I’ve been wearing this outfit a lot lately. Somehow, if I dunno what to wear I seem to end up walking around like this I really love the details on the Harajuku set by AVZ. It’s a 14 piece set and other than the pieces I’m wearing you also get rainbow wool gloves, socks, shorts and different tops. I must admit I hardly ever wear the rainbow wool stuff but the other pieces of the set are easy to combine and I wear them quite often.

On rare occasions I receive a notecard from a store, read it and look at the pictures and just have to drop everything I’m doing to TP there and get that outfit *now*. Neta Janus managed to do that with her new League release, Steampunk Apocalypse. I bought it and love it

Included in the set is the black vest (undershirt and shirt layer), a corset (jacket layer), skirt and skirt pants, and ropes around the waist, arm and leg. The Astrolabe arm-belt has a rotating dial. I never heard of an astrolabe before but it turned out to be a very ancient astronomical computer for solving problems relating to time and the position of the Sun and stars in the sky…in case you’re wondering. The amount of detail in the set is amazing, as you can prolly see on the astrolabe pic I posted below.

I saw this post on the D!FF site and it struck me as kind of sad. So I decided to go over and show my support.

As far as I could tell there was no sale ongoing at the Cherry Buttons location but I could not resist this pretty little dress. It’s the perfect summer dress (yes, I know we still have a few months to go before summer is truly upon us here in the Northern Hemisphere…..a girl can’t help but dream!). I love the vibrant colors…. they remind me of African prints.

I was thinking of pairing the dress with flats, but I already had on these cute quirky shoes from Periquita. They seem to compliment the dress nicely. So here it is, my first post at iheartsl…..short and sweet.
