Potty with me!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on May 9, 2008

Yep, Potty Training was to hot for a title…even for me…lucky you! (Oh my!)

Your Flickr-nutties might have seen this outfit already (no, I’m not going to write this every time)….

Oookaay!

The default skirt is a good thing for the so called plus size girls. Of course you should reduce your arse and saddle as usual, but not to zero, ’cause it might look very, very weird. I don’t understand, why so many seem to hate the real skirt…I love it! This one comes in a million colours, which makes it easy to fit with any outfit. I decided to wear the more basic denim-version, because there are lots of colours hopping around already. It comes with matching glitch-pants, so you don’t have to worry about frozen legs! Yay!

The jacket is from Digit Darkes, which has some cute little things around the store, very nice little details here and there. Besides the skirt, the rest was lurking around my inventory already. The belt from artilleri was a bit tricky to fit around the waist. OK, there’s a catch with those real skirts…there’s a gap around the waistband, which has to be covered (this only happens, if you can’t put bum/saddle to Zero).

Not much more to say, you can check the whole springiness on flickr.

Oh, the lashes and that thing in my mouth were group-presents from BP*-update-group ♥…aawww!

渋谷へ行きましょう!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on May 6, 2008

1. My Japanese sucks.

2. My lazy days are over-blah announcement sucks.

3. My Dyson sucks.

Har-har…OK…I’ll stop now with the funny stuff. *tries to pull herself together*

Inspired by those beautiful ladies and loads of TV-reports about their hygiene-issues (body and home) I wanted to do this for some time. It took me a while to find a matching skin, because it’s obviously not something that you’d find over at MMS or Tuli or [enter favourite brand here]. Although I have to say, for me they could have a bit more make-up around the eyes and more weirdly coloured lips…but at least the skin-tone’s something!

I was thinking of those, spending their summer days on the beach and the nights mainly on the streets and clubs in Shibuya…hmm, and that’s what came out. The shoes might be a bit too glamorous but at least they’re pink and cute. Before I go on with my smattering about Japanese (sub-) culture…*simulates coughing fit”

Click for full enlightenment!

MiaSnow Myriam released just lately (or I was sleeping) her own ganguro skin range, which I put for comparison next to the one I got in March.

As you can see, they’re different! Wow, what an observer I am!

The one from Draconic Kiss is on the left, Mia’s on the right, which has a more natural look, especially hairy bits (No, I didn’t check there!) and shininess. I can’t say which I like best, this is why I stuck to the original choice, but made a few pix with the Mia skin as well.

You can see more pix here!

Lazy Days are over!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 30, 2008

That’s what I hope and some of you are dreaming of the opposite…har-har!

Those of you, who are risking an eye by taking a look at my flickr from time to time, might have seen this *points down there* (as usual: not THERE!) already. Although it doesn’t look like one, but it is actually a very low cost outfit…I’m not talking about L$, I’m talking about the Avatar Rendering Costs! I really do enjoy those kind of stuff, I even enjoy staring on graphs, street maps and anything boring…erm…back to topic!

You know those days, when you want to look worn out, used and like your cat’s litter box? I have my favourite stores for this, and those are beautifully combined in this outfit….Awwww!

AVZ, always great with hair and surprising with clothes; Primitive Design, my prim-heaven and bymiaSnow for the right scratch and bruise and occasional dunno-what-was-put-in-my-drink-that-night-tattoo. Zero Number (not much choice in-store, but they last a million scruffy nights out), the ones built to last!

As simple as the coat/jacket might look, it’s fab! It has the right shadows at the right spots (uuuhhh…and it’s for the men as well!)…the lower part is a skirt, but don’t worry…if you put your arse and saddle to zero, it’s perfect. Those thingies on the shoulders are prims, so you don’t have to wear them…thinking about it…a matching belt would have been nice…*stops thinking now!*

Oh, and the denims are from Armidi! Regular Industrial has the right oh, did I sleep with the rubbish bins behind the club/pub/mom’s house again?-Look.

Yes, I spent too much time in the fresh air for over a week…I know, it’s bad….

oh, before I forget…the full glory in huuge pix! Yay! -> BEEP

Hungry Breasts!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 16, 2008

Yep, just another weird title and disappointment for those actually looking for breasts. Well, they’re there, but…

In my last post I presented (woo-woo!) my first approach to dress my new shape. For this one (done the same day) I put my usual dress sense (harhar) into it, by checking my inventory and landmarks for my favs. I decided quite quickly that I wanted to wear one of the Veschi hooded sweaters, the skirt from BP* was also an easy choice, because it’s shape is just ideal for my figure. What really was a fight were the shoes. Since I wanted something casual the lovely fitting heals from Stiletto Moody weren’t an option. So I tried tons of demos over at Shiny Things. Problematic are those calves! You can’t stretch upper parts of boots that much. Well you could, but that’ll look like…erm…sh*t? Making your legs thin, just to fit the boots would be cheating…so I stuck with those lovely stompers.

For my last outfit (see post before) I heard nice things like “You look like sh*t!”. With this one it was just a “You looked better before! You look granny-ish!”. But that was a person, who could be on Fashion Police on a daily basis…so….*coughs* I like it and that’s that!

Thank *beep* for stretchy fabrics!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 14, 2008

(Please enter appropriate worship character for the *beep*!)

Actually I gave up shape shopping a long time ago, but (bored as usual) on one shopping spree I saw those shapes over at PUDGE. I bought the Zosia Plus Size Shape and took a very close look at my new me. After I ‘d tried some clothes on, I figured…hm, not that easy if you want to look good/normal/blah…I altered the shape a bit, made it a bit taller and some other small changes…ok, that’s boring.

I put on some of my sleeping Veschi-fat*hrhr*-packs and I liked that on me *points to picture*. Of course the skirt is quite short, but with those lovely tights? ;-)

Back to Grey

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 10, 2008

The hair brought all this together. I liked the name of the hair (The Rainy Day) and luckily the style as well. Since it covers the eyes a lot I decided to give it a sleek look and not my usual dose of colours and attachments. Blouse and shorts were waiting in my inventory (Yeah, there’s a lot waiting) and go quite well together. To step out of the grey, I chose the dark purple coloured hair and matching skin with heavy eye-makeup.

I’ve been running into *Sheer* in Le Zoo every now and then, but although I very much liked what’s on sale there, it took me a few visits to remember it when throwing outfits together (I hope, someone understands what I’m trying to say here…). The nails in coal shimmer from Fleur are perfect for the whole look, unfortunately WL is messing it up (like the necklace and the possibility of taking high-res pix *mbls*)…or I am, who knows? ;-)

I’m a detail-freak and the golden buckles on the shoes allow me to wear them, despite the silver touch. Well, that’s what I keep telling me. har-har

blouse: SpringTurtle_Gray from AOHARU (OMG just found out…gray is actually correct, for Americans! *blushes*)

…not your usual pageant-girl…

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 9, 2008

I’d seen MiaSnow Myriam’s creations around Flickr and various blogs and that day (aaww!) I decided to finally get to her store and grap something! I loved the shirt since I saw it on some blog (giving proper credit is something I still have to learn) and skins were really inviting to create something new (for me). Look at that smile! *bling* The skin looks really scruffy, with weird/funny/cute tattoos all over the body, even some bruises. Junkie naturally slutty says it all, I suppose. *hrhr*

Having bought the cute shorts from Ducknipple already, I had the urge for something around the hip…I browsed my favourite shops and found this *points out* at AVZ! It belongs to a complete outfit called Harajuku Urbanix, but you can buy the items separately! Yay!

I’d like to point out the amazing details which Primitive Design offer in their jewellery, so I made some close-ups as well. The green stuff in the necklace actually moves/turns! For the full prim-heaven, you can check them as well on Flickr.

Is that a dachshund?

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 8, 2008

First: Versteck has a new location and a cute little sale going on! Everything 25L$! Shop!

My last two outfits were too kind to the eyes, so now it’s time again for some “looking like I stepped out of a child’s colouring book“…*hrhr* (taken from a comment on some blog on some very popular topic yesterday)

In case you’re reading this, because you got attracted by the main pic, I’m telling you no news, that KUROTSUBAKI is packed with cute, innovative, affordable stuff. I found this jacket, when I was doing a bit of shop-hopping just to kill some time. I’d been quite a few times at that store (the former main-store it was) but had never noticed those adorable bright thingies! Argh! Although the red appealed to me the most, I chose the yellow one. Yellow isn’t really that popular for clothes/fashion, so I had the smell of challenge up my nose (and my finger…yikes!) and of course I loved the UK-theme going on…(could that sausage-dog pass as a corgi?). Please note the prim-details for the arms, which makes the whole thing look more girly and less unisex.

Besides the hair, the rest came easily together. The T-shirt from Thimbles was living in my inventory since I first noticed the store (poor thing!). I bought it, because it was so ugly…three totally different patterns in one shirt! Yay! It really gives the whole outfit a nice little push out of the yellow and the blue in it connects with the denim-skirt. The skirt and the leg-warmers (heaters!) satisfied my daily dose of BP* for that day. Since I keep all hair-demos I ever liked, I found this hair from Cake…nothing new really, but a great match with its rather scruffy, messed-up look.

jacket: jersey_yellow from KUROTSUBAKI

OMG Pink again!

Posted by Tarissa Tripsa on April 3, 2008

When I decide to wear pink, then it must be really special. When there’s even glitter in the shoes and not many other colours around…very suspicious. (Don’t ask, how I mean that, because I don’t know myself. *harhar*)

When I bought the brown dress with daisy-print from AOHARU (s. earlier post) I saw these blouses and HAD to get me one as well. It comes with two prim attachments for each arm. On the pic you can only see the upper ones. The turtle-neck and the lower sleeve-prims should be worn in any case, because the edges are not meant to be visible, if you know what I mean ;-) Can’t really remember why I wanted the pink one. Maybe I had those bright pink shoes in the back of my mind? So this is a very simple and sleek outfit, which I usually wouldn’t prefer but every part of it is so well made, that it’s really a joy to wear it.
