Anyone want to share 1/2 of Twomoons Island? I’ll be really picky but it’s worth a shot asking. Trying to weigh all my options.

I’m selling Twomoons Island, that’s it! Thanks to those who expressed concern for me. I am happy with the decision, because it is best for now. I will miss those prims though!!!!! & I love to terraform…. the privacy, the water^^ ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Ok, it does make me sad *boooo!

I knew from the beginning the island is my responsibility & no one elses ever! So when I have posted asking for active renters, active mainstores, etc… that is all I was sayin. All of the Twomoons inhabitants have been so great & I love em all. Lots of people have tried to help make the island work! I sure don’t want anyone to feel inadequate, like they didn’t do enough. For instance, Jasmine Lisle. She’s been busy RL, living it up, no time for SL. We all go through that. But I bet she will feel like she should have done better or something! Girl, no way. All of you guys have done alot over time. We all tried at some point or another to breathe some life into the land. We did good too.

I did a meditation today for reconnecting with my higher self & generating energy… been working on this for a while actually. But today, it was very clear to me what I needed to do. & selling the island & taking complete responsibility for it not working is what i need to do! I don’t see it as a failure either. It’s just too much for me.

I do rant about LL. I could right now! But, idk, I feel pretty good about this & not going to blame it all on the ridiculous land fees, & lack of development by LL in the realm of interactivity… I won’t go there  & I’m not going anywhere. I might make all my old stuff like L$1 each then develop a new, simpler brand. Do you think that’s a good idea?

Hello! I’m looking for some main stores to move to Twomoons Island. I’m open to partnering up with someone who has a proven track record, & share the island. The private island fee is RIDICULOUS! Almost $300 USD. The rental rates I offer are cheap, which works only when I have active ppl inhabiting the island. Please help spread the word!

I’ve tried to make a nice place for new & old residents alike to come use, not just a shopping spot. I put out a billiards table that is actually pretty cool & works well. I put out silly mopeds & badass motorcycles for ppl to play on. Fishing. Hot tubs! I’ve tried everything it seems All the while, trying to keep low-lag in mind. But ppl do not really use it. The extra prims & scripts drain the land & just look sad all alone.

When the island gets included in Editor’s picks, it is really great. Buuut, it’s so laggy that ppl cannot use the interactive items. Store owners see the number of avatars on the island & want to rent. Then a week later when the Editor makes new picks, everyone forgets about the island.

I still believe in Second Life!

I want to stay. But I need to band together with others who share my dream that SL will get better & that we will be able to be a part of it… somehow. I know they have plans for new stuff coming… the graphics are looking amazing lately & just getting better… there are still possibilities to come.

I don’t “play” SL anymore. To me, the place seems to be either all business or all sex! Either ppl are spending all their time trying to learn how to upload mesh or make sculpts or script, etc., or they spend all their time making friends. For me anyway, there is little time left for friendships in SL because everything takes so dang long to make or learn or figure out/stumble through! And the lack of interactivity bores me. Friends come & go… not fun to get close to someone who just disappears one day, forever.

Sometimes I wonder WTF LL is thinking? What is their goal?

It almost seems as though ppl are fleeing SL in droves, & the land rates are so high I wonder if LL “gets” it that there are so many other free fun worlds now to play in, that are ALOT MORE FUN. I think SL could be so amazing! I love to create there!

Recently, I looked into uploading mesh & was impressed that LL required me to go through a short tutorial & test about intellectual property. I really liked that & approve of any company being proactive about that issue!

However, I think that until SL is stable enough for my aspiration of interactivity, I’ll just stick with carp for sale… LOL, I mean crap! The trailer park is great, but I might get rid of part of it to make room for you? Also thinking about taking residential rentals at the park as well as store rentals.

Does anyone have any thoughts on all these topics?
