Y HALO THAR

Oh neat, you mean I can post on iheartsl too? Thank you for setting this up, I’ve really been enjoying all of the fresh blood in the fashion feeds. (Not that the unfresh blood is any less tasty. What the heck, I’m sounding like a V:TM RPer, and I’m not, I swear.) (Not lately anyway.)
What did you do in SL today? I had a hilarious experience. One of my coworkers is also in SL, and she invited a few very new friends over to see my living space. They made themselves comfortable and stayed. And stayed and stayed… I had to log out for a while. I returned to find them still there!
That’s the most amazing thing about SL living spaces. They still exist in the world even if we do not, which means that they kind of have a life of their own without us, you know? My old park in Wellsian would get all kinds of traffic, and I’d wonder what the Three Bears did: who’s been sleeping in my bed?
This is part of the strangeness and joy of SL too, the delight of living so ephemerally in the space that you can disappear if you want to, leaving your empty shell behind. You can dip into the world and watch it for a day, and then return to your other life, knowing that the petri dish will rapidly spawn and grow and change…
ANYWAY. What was my point? Oh yes. This is a neat idea for a blog.
