Oh My My, Oh Hell Yes, You’ve Got To Put On That Party Dress

This dress was a group gift from Alchemy a while back, and I immediately thought BIRTHDAY PARTY DRESS! A good friend was having a birthday party in SL and it was great, I slipped it on and headed over.

Only to realize the party was over and I’d missed it. AND NO ONE GOT TO SEE ME IN MY CUTE PARTY DRESS!

So I hung it back up in my closet nicely, thinking that someone was going to have a birthday party eventually and I’d wear it! Who knew It’d be me?

I originally decided to pull this one out to celebrate my big 4-0 in SL when I was made aware that Silo had a HUGE party at our estate planned. I thought some new shoes would be nice, so I rolled over to Armidi to pick up a pair of shoes that in my memory would GO with this dress.

Sigh, they didn’t match. But I REALLY REALLY REALLY liked the shoes. REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted them. It was my 40th Damn RL birthday! I deserved the shoes! So I bought them!

THEN I remembered that there was a dress at another boutique store I really like, that would be SMASHING with these shoes. I would be KYOOOOT so…..off I popped, trying to play beat the clock with the party guests and snatched up the dress.

And then I got dressed. The dress, which is sold on a cut out style texture (okay this IS a cute way to display your clothes) was pictured as a longish dress – similar to the style I am wearing but with an only slightly shorter skit. The texture on which it was being sold was WILDLY longer than the actual item. WILDLY so. The dress itself was so short that I think I heard meowing when I bent over in it.
